With a strong foundation in technology and a deep passion for education, Ms. Nancy Dias has been an integral part of the SIS community for over 17 years. She joined SIS in 2007 as a PYP ICT Facilitator, moved to the MYP in 2010, and has been teaching Computer Science in the Diploma Programme since 2020. Her longstanding association with the MYP includes significant contributions to aligning curriculum and practices with IB standards.
Beginning in the academic year 2025–26, Ms. Dias will take on the role of MYP Coordinator. Her leadership has supported several key milestones at SIS, including PYP authorisation (2008), MYP authorisation (2020), and DP evaluation (2021).
Selected for the Google Educators Group India Leaders Summit in 2014, she is also a certified Google Trainer. She played a pivotal role in the school’s transition to Google Classroom during the pandemic, ensuring smooth and effective online teaching. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she oversees IT functions for the MYP, conducts faculty demo sessions, and provides technical support.
With 27 years of experience across National and IB curricula, Ms. Dias is admired for her responsible, collaborative, and student-centered approach, fostering an environment where learners feel supported and inspired.
