Payal Dasgupta is the SIS MYP coordinator and IB DP examiner in TOK and Psychology. She has been the Middle Year Coordinator since 2011 and is leading a team of trained facilitators who understand the essence of international education. The MYP programme in SIS has acted as bridge between the PYP and IGSCE programme. It has grown in terms of academic standards and every year more and more keen learners join this tailor made programme in order to be part of the international learning community.
She has an experience of more than 12 years and has worked in various areas of the IB programme. She has worked in PYP, MYP & DP at various stages of her professional career. With a post graduation degree in Psychology and Sociology and a B. Ed degree, she is a core academician at heart. She has worked as the HOD of Dept. Psychology in DP in reputed IB School in the past. She was a member of the DP Steering Committee and Curriculum Review Committee and TOK and CAS Coordinator in reputed IB Schools and has taught TOK and Psychology to IBDP students.
She has attended various workshops in PYP, MYP & DP Psychology &TOK. She is a good administrator and has been instrumental in setting new academic standards in the programme.
