A week-long participation of learners in activities such as quizzes, handwriting, poetry, and rhyme competitions, etc. marked the celebration of Marathi Diwas. Our learners also attended workshops and guest sessions on ‘Sangeet Natak’ and ‘Lezim - a form of traditional dance’ led by Ms. Nabha Jadhav, Drama facilitator and Ms. Mrunalini Bhosale, PE facilitator respectively. The week culminated on February 27th with students performing dances, songs, poems, sangeet natak, a quiz, and a presentation on the state of Maharashtra for their peers and teachers. The engagements provide an opportunity to celebrate the rich traditions and history associated with the language.
