Computer Labs

Technology plays a major role in twenty-first century education. The new model of integrating technology into the curriculum has made the computer lab the center for most computing activity in the school.The school provides access to students and faculty to Well-designed computer labs, which provide the tools and technologies to produce websites, edit papers, complete class assignments, communicate via email, conduct data analyses and access library resources. The School has three computer laboratories with 40 computers in each lab with one-on-one access to students. The lab features personal-computing workstations with Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2016 applications, with color , black and white printers, web Camera, LCD projector . CCTV and Desktops connected by LAN. This enables easy access to the Internet and Intranet facilities. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. All the computers are equipped with updated softwares and advanced technical aids to learn programming, web designing, and app-development to hone critical and analytical skills. The school is equipped with a dedicated broadband Internet connection. The computer lab serves as the location for networked printers and scanners that are used by the whole school.The school has Hi-Tech and fully equipped computer Labs which are fully Air-Conditioned.Students engage in comprehensive research for their projects, reports and presentations. Software includes C++ and Java programming development tools and Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Photo editing, animation software's and various media players. The department has qualified committed teachers to teach different classes at different levels i.e. Primary, Middle School, and IG/DP students. The faculty members make continuous efforts to ensure that the students get hands-on experience of the different tools and software. The computer lab services have been planned in such a way that the students get exposure to various technologies and softwares. The students are assessed on their conceptual understanding over a regular time interval via formative and summative tasks ,projects and assignments given to them. Subject facilitators also use the lab with their classes for research, or for creating technology-based projects.
